Woodland Developmental Center's
LINK Summer Camp
Students in St. Clair County's middle and high schools still have time to sign up for Woodland Developmental Center's summer LINK program. Students from those schools are "linked" to a Woodland classroom where they will work and play with peers who have various disabilities. Woodland students benefit by working on their skills, promoting independence and socialization. Non-Woodland students get experience working with peers whose abilities are different from theirs. LINK participants spend up to 12 days at Woodland through July and August.
To apply, students can pick up a packet at Woodland’s front desk or email Chelsey Hull to have one mailed to their home address.
See the flyer here for more information.
