Virtual Learning Academy

Alternative Education Online 

The Virtual Learning Academy is a public school academy chartered by the St. Clair County RESA.

 

Eligibility

Who's eligible to enroll in the Virtual Learning Academy?

  • Students ages 16–19 who have voluntarily stopped attending school for more than 30 days.
  • Expelled students in grades 9–12.

 

The Virtual Learning Academy is free to eligible students.

 

Commitment

Virtual Learning Academy students must commit to spend a minimum of 30 hours a week on their school work. At least 5 hours a week must be spent in our computer lab on the RESA campus in Marysville. The remaining 25 hours each week can be spent online at home using a school-issued laptop with Internet access.
