Chef Vincent Salvatore, has spent his life in kitchens, whether it was at home with his mother (who is also a chef) or in one of the many professional kitchens that he has worked in.
Mr. Salvatore was involved in the Skills USA and American Culinary Federation Culinary Arts College Competitions. Vincent, was awarded the gold medal at the 2002 National Skills USA Culinary Arts Competition where he received a full ride scholarship to attend Johnson & Wales University. He has years of food related experience in all aspects of the industry including catering, retail, restaurants, baking and country clubs giving him a diverse background in the food industry.
Chef Salvatore, enjoys teaching Culinary Arts because it gives him the opportunity to share his knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm with the students at TEC. Chef feels that it is important to give the students a chance to learn skills that help them to be college ready and career focused.
