Digital Media Program

 

Digital Media Technology

Students will receive an introduction to new media production techniques including audio, video, graphic and website design. Using Macintosh computers, students will complete media projects with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and Final Cut Pro software. This instruction will provide students with the opportunity to develop basic skills in Digital Media Technology.

  • Digital imaging (photography)

  • Lighting for video
  • Non-linear editing
  • Pre-production video strategy
  • Script writing
  • Studio television production
  • Videography
  • Website design

 

 

Advanced training

and education

Advanced training and education may be obtained through schools of broadcasting, university programs, community colleges and technical schools. Central Michigan University, Ferris State University, Lansing Community College, Michigan State University and Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, Inc. are examples of quality programs for TEC students to consider.
