Sarah Davidson-Nelson, Operations coordinator
Sarah is the naturalist and operations coordinator at the nature center. Sarah attended Central Michigan University where she earned a bachelor's degree majoring in biology and natural resources. She stayed at CMU to earn her master's degree in conservation biology where she studied wolf depredation ecology on sheep and cattle farms in the Upper Peninsula. She has extensive experience in the field and in the classroom. Sarah enjoys working with St. Clair County's area students and residents.

Carrie Kloka, Assistant program coordinator
Carrie is the assistant operations coordinator. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She has been a naturalist for the better part of 13 years, working at the Sterling Heights and Madison Heights nature centers. She also has been a substitute teacher. Carrie is excited about her position. "We can use our creativity in developing new programs, but we’re not starting everything from scratch," she said.
