Great Start Collaborative

In May 2006, the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) was awarded a grant by the Early Childhood Investment Corporation to convene a community-wide Great Start Collaborative. The Collaborative’s members include community residents, parents, and professionals. The assignment:

  • Conduct an assessment of early childhood strengths and needs
  • Strategically review local data, community assets and program gaps
  • Review and assess the scope of early childhood systems now in place
