Jennifer Evans, (810) 455-4016
Jennifer joined St. Clair County RESA in 2011 after starting her career in Port Huron, Michigan and then teaching in Las Vegas for 25 years. She's worked as a reading specialist, instructional mentor, in the classroom for 22 years, as well as district trainer in literacy. Currently she serves on multiple statewide teams and is involved in the committee work that puts on the MiELA Network Institute each summer. She has presented literacy strategies at state and national conferences. She also is heavily involved with the statewide literacy essentials work and helping to create a literate community through the Blue Water Reading Council.

Jennifer has a bachelor's degree in language arts from The University of Michigan, and a master's degree in computer applications with additional reading endorsements.

Grade 6-12 ELA
Victoria Les, (810) 455-4006
Victoria joined St. Clair County RESA after 20 years with Algonac Community Schools. Originally employed there to teach "thinking skills" at the elementary level, she later moved to the middle school where she taught 6th-, 7th- and 8th-grade language arts. Victoria also served as a reading specialist and reading director while with Algonac schools.

Victoria was involved in the development of MI Class and is also a part of the state's team of trainers. She has presented literacy strategies at state and national conferences. Victoria earned her bachelor's degree at Central Michigan University and her master's degree at Wayne State University.
