Parents who are worried about their baby or toddler for some reason, or whose baby was born with a medical problem, can now find help while their child is still young. Many free services are available in St. Clair County.
The local Early On system provides at no charge:
- Evaluation and assessment
- Service coordination
- Development of any Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
The following services may be included in a family service plan; however, in some instances a fee may be charged to the family:
- Family, training, counseling and home visits
- Physical, occupational and speech therapy
- Nursing services
- Special instruction
- Social work services
- Psychological services
- Nutrition services
- Vision services
- Audiology
- Medical services (for diagnosis and evaluation)
- Transportation to early intervention services
- Assistive technology services and or devices
- Other services as identified on the family service plan
