The 21st Century Learning Symposium is an event for K-12 teachers, administrators, boards of education, and business and community leaders. The symposium focuses on ways to help students develop the 21st century skills necessary for success in a digital world. In order for students to develop these skills, educators must embrace a new culture of learning, one in which the role of teacher and student shift.
One of the elements that make this conference so valuable is the amazing and engaging presentations given each year. The break out sessions offered during the symposium show concrete ways we can achieve these goals. Speakers interested in demonstrating examples of how these goals can be achieved are invited to apply to present by completing the following form below.
Presentations with the following strands will be considered:
- Blended, Online and Flipped Learning
- Mobile Learning & BYOD
- Maker Movement and Activities
- Communication and collaboration with Online Tools
- Coding Across Grade Levels
- Professional Development Models with a Digital Twist
- Flexible Learning Environments
The submission deadline for all presenters is April 30, 2015.
Notification of acceptance* will be sent by May 15, 2015.
*Accepted presenters (maximum two per proposal) will receive one night hotel accommodations (for presenters residing 60+ miles away), mileage, complimentary conference registration, and an invitation to our Presenter Meet Up on August 31st from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
