Manufacturing Day
Manufacturing Day is a national effort to have high school students learn first-hand about the many careers that manufacturing offers, and the educational pathways they can follow to lead to those jobs.
Our partners, focused on the future
Manufacturing remains an integral part of Michigan’s economy. Today’s high-tech manufacturing facilities offer high-paying, exciting, and innovative jobs. Since 2015, St. Clair County RESA has partnered with private companies locally to take county students inside those doors and see for themselves what manufacturing is all about.
Our partnering companies are devoting time and effort to Manufacturing Day. Their participation is invaluable in giving our young people new insights into the good-paying, personally stimulating career opportunities available today in manufacturing.
Our 2019 participating partners hosted over 1,700 students:
Manufacturing Day is part of RESA’s Design4theFuture initiative. Design4theFuture represents RESA’s commitment that every student will graduate PREPARED, PASSIONATE, and with a PLAN.
