Schools of Choice
The seven public school districts within St. Clair County participate in the contiguous and countywide Schools of Choice program each year as part of their continuing effort to provide quality education to all students.
This countywide Schools of Choice program allows parents and students to choose which public school they would like to attend regardless of where they live in St. Clair County.
The 2024-25 Schools of Choice 1st-semester window is closed.

Districts post which schools and grades have openings |
December 2, 2024 |
Applications will be accepted starting December 2, 2024 |
December 16, 2024 |
Districts that are limited can accept applications until 4 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024. Districts that are unlimited may accept applications through the first week of the 2024-25 school year. |
January 10, 2025 |
Districts have until Friday, January 10, 2025, to review applications and determine which students will be accepted into the program |

There is a drop box in front of the Administration Building on the RESA campus located at 499 Range Road in Marysville. Schools of Choice applications can be submitted by placing them in the box. RESA staff retrieves applications at 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
