Homeschool Programs and Registration

Enrich your child’s knowledge and connection with the natural world. An environmental educator will lead indoor and outdoor hands-on activities to help students thoroughly understand nature concepts. These programs provide an excellent opportunity to get outside, meet other homeschool families and supplement your at-home lessons!

Ecosystem Exploration for 1st-3rd Grades
Thursday, November 16, 2023

12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Cost:  $5 per student

Explore different ecosystems throughout the nature center’s 80 acres of diverse habitats.  Students, working in teams, will decipher clues about the different ecosystems at the nature center and participate in hands-on activities at each ecosystem.  Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather.

Winter Survival Strategies
Tuesday, December 12, 2023
12 - 2 p.m.
Cost: $5 per student
 

Investigate the ways in which animals adapt and survive our cold winter months.  This program will include hiking and outdoor activities.  Please dress appropriately for the weather.
