Are you curious about your child’s development?

Help Me Grow-St. Clair County offers free screenings for all children ages 0-5 that provide insight into your child's development.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Complete the Ages & Stages Questionnaires to learn more about your child’s development. It only takes a few minutes.

  2. Results and additional information about programs and services will be shared with you.

  3. Continuous support is available as your child ages and if you have additional questions or concerns.

Ages & Stages Questionnaire, Third Edition (ASQ-3)
The Ages & Stages Questionnaires, Third Edition (ASQ-3), can help you keep track of your child's development. You will be asked to answer questions about some things your child can and cannot do. The questionnaire includes questions about your child's communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, and personal social skills.

Ages & Stages Questionnaire: Social-Emotional, Second Edition (ASQ:SE-2)
The Ages & Stages Questionnaires: Social-Emotional, Second Edition (ASQ:SE-2) can help you keep track of your child's social and emotional development. You will be asked to answer questions about some of your child's behaviors. The questionnaire includes questions about your child's ability to calm down, take direction and follow rules, communicate, perform daily activities (e.g., eating, sleeping), act independently, demonstrate feelings, and interact with others.
