Parent Advisory Committtee
The PAC represents the St. Clair County RESA and local school districts as parents of children receiving special education services in St. Clair County.
We listen. We act. We care.
PAC members are recommended by their local school board to the St. Clair County RESA Board of Education. PAC members stay informed of plans, changes, and trends in special education in St. Clair County and Michigan. They also participate in the state monitoring process of delivery of special education services.
Issues that have recently been of interest to the PAC include:
- Parent empowerment
- Least restrictive environment
- School funding
- Collaborations among agencies
- State mandates
- School discipline

The Parent Advisory Committee meets bi-monthly from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the RESA East Campus, 1111 Delaware St., Marysville, and virtually through Zoom. Meetings are open to the public and all parents are encouraged to attend.
