Today, we were honored to welcome Senator Dan Lauwers to St. Clair County RESA. He joined Superintendent Brenda Tenniswood and CTE Director/TEC Principal Lesley Murphy for a tour of St. Clair TEC and a conversation about the incredible opportunities available to students in St. Clair County. Superintendent Tenniswood has also recently had the privilege of hosting Representatives Jay DeBoyer and Joe Pavlov on campus to showcase the innovative programs happening here and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of education in St. Clair County. 🪶 Week one of the Pine River Nature Center's Summer Nature Series, Birds of a Feather, was a soaring success! Students engaged in hands-on station rotations, exploring bird feathers, feet, beaks, and nests, and participated in guided hikes that identified birds by both sight and sound. 🍄 Week one of the Summer Nature Series at the Pine River Nature Center was a FUNgi-filled adventure! Students learned about mushrooms and slime molds during "Fun with Fungi and Slime Molds." Activities included outdoor investigations, microscope studies, mushroom mystery games, and cute crafts.
